Oposing Thumbs

So I wake up this morning to find my cute little daughter sitting in the dark, all alone on the recliner playing with Mommy’s cell phone. The fact she’s playing with the cell isn’t really shocking at all. She LOVES to play with them, especially mine because it has a picture of her inside. What is surprising is the fact that she was in her bed behind a closed door in the bedroom! So my guess is she woke up when my wife was leaving for work this morning in the wee hours of the morning. Once she woke up she climbed herself out of bed and then proceeded to open up the bedroom door for herself and make a break for it! So it would seem that she now has mastered the use of door nobs which she can only reach while on her tippy toes. Yet another milestone for her has been achieved and one more thing that we have to account for in our home security measures against toddler insurgency.

  1. What a sneaky little girl! If I were there I’d give her a high five for awesome crib-escaping skills.
